2025 Myrtle Beach Christmas Shows

  • Where: Alabama Theatre, North Myrtle Beach
  • What: #1 Christmas show in Myrtle Beach. This festive holiday musical combines traditional classics and contemporary holiday favorites. Also featured is their Comedic Stunt Juggler, Max Winfrey, who puts on a new Christmas twist.
  • When: Shows run six days a week with select matinees from November 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

 

Christmas at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show

  • Where: Pirates Voyage
  • What: Watch as two pirate teams fight for a Christmas treasure! The show features two full-sized pirate ships with acrobatics, a live nativity scene, and a four-course holiday feast.
  • When: Shows begin running for the season on November 5, 2025

 

Carolina Opry’s The Christmas Show of the South

  • Where: The Calvin Gilmore Theater, Myrtle Beach
  • What: An annual holiday production bringing in stunning changes and time-honored traditions each year, with new talented artists and long-standing Opry favorites. It brings the warm, wonderful, and fun spirit of Christmas to life with music, comedy, and dance.
  • When: Shows run with evening performances and matinees from November 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

 

Motor City Musical – Original Motown Tribute Show

  • Where: GTS Theatre, Myrtle Beach
  • What: Enjoy a two-hour evening of soulful entertainment as the audience goes on a musical journey through the history of Motown. The show features soul and holiday music of the ‘60s and ‘70s, including Christmas favorites.
  • When: Select dates from November 1, 2025, through December 22, 2025

 

Le Grande Cirque Presents: Winter in the Air

  • Where: Broadway Theater at Broadway at the Beach
  • What: Enjoy a show filled with acrobatics, Christmas charm, and a heartwarming storyline.
  • When: November 4, 2025, through December 31, 2025

 

Step into Christmas with the Elton John Tribute Show

  • Where: GTS Theatre, Myrtle Beach
  • What: Since 1973, “Step Into Christmas” has topped the charts. Come see this song and more holiday hits along with the Award-Winning Elton John Tribute Artist Bill Connors.
  • When: Select dates from November 4, 2025, through December 9, 2025

  • Where: Main Street Theatre in downtown Conway.
  • What: The traditional performance comes to life in Downtown Conway this holiday season. Featuring performers from Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre, Coastal Dance Centre, and professional guest artists, combined with beautiful sets and costumes, the show will be displayed alongside Peter Tchaikovsky’s well-known score.   • Where: Theatre of the Republic, Conway
  • What: A holiday show featuring traditional music as well as dance.
  • When: December 18 – 21, 2025

Intracoastal Christmas Regatta Parade Cruise

  • Where: Barefoot Queen Riverboat by Barefoot Landing
  • What: All Aboard! Join as a parade participant for the Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta parade along the Intracoastal Waterway on the Riverboat. A full dinner and Christmas treats will be served on this five-hour-long cruise, along with games, prizes, and entertainment! There will also be a fully stocked bar, serving select beers, wines, and liquors available for purchase. Must be 21+ years old with a valid ID. Bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots and get $5 back on your ticket per toy (up to 2 toys). Tickets are $84.99++ for adults and are expected to sell out.
  • When: November 29, 2025, departing at 5 p.m.

 

Loris Christmas Parade

  • When: December 5, 2025 | 6 p.m.

 

Georgetown Christmas Parade

North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade

  • Where: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach
  • What: An evening parade featuring lighted floats and vehicles. Parade entries will be judged and awarded for being the best!
  • When: December 6, 2025 | 5:30 p.m.

 

Surfside Beach Christmas Parade

  • Where: South Ocean Boulevard and Surfside Drive in Surfside Beach
  • What: Annual parade for all to enjoy, followed by The Holiday Market at Memorial Park featuring a variety of vendors.
  • When: December 13, 2025 | 2 p.m.

 

2025 Myrtle Beach Area Light Displays

 

The Great Christmas Light Show

  • Where: North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex
  • What: Drive through a light show with 2 million lights festively displayed, with over 500 displays (select displays new for 2025!) and Santa’s village to enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, ride the Santa Express Train, and, of course, meet Santa! When: November 24 – December 30 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm (Closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, and Christmas Day, December 25) | Santa’s Village is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ONLY from November 28 through December 7. Open Nightly December 11 through 30 (Closed on Christmas Day).
  • Price: $20 Standard Vehicles (Non-Village Nights), $25 Standard Vehicles (Village Nights), $50 Oversized Vehicles (All-Nights), $100 Charter Buses (Admitted Mon-Thurs only). 

 

 

Nights of a Thousand Candles

  • Where: Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet
  • What:  Walk through a soft, glowing sculpture and wildlife preserve, with several themed botanical gardens with over 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights at Nights of a Thousand Candles. Enjoy live music entertainment, refreshments, and holiday-themed exhibits. Tickets for non-members are $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 4-12; tickets must be pre-purchased, and space is limited.
  • When: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on select dates, November 28, 2025 – January 4, 2026

 

MarshWalk Wonderland of Lights

  • Where: MarshWalk, Murrells Inlet
  • What: Take a stroll along the MarshWalk and enjoy thousands of lights displayed throughout synced with Christmas music. It will also feature a 20-foot LED Christmas tree at the end of the Veteran’s Pier and an array of places to get the perfect photo, including the Candy Cane Arch, a massive Christmas ornament and more. Plus, on Fridays through Sundays from November 28 – December 21, kids can check out Santa’s Village with a petting zoo, barrel cart rides, visits with Santa, and more! The light show is absolutely free; select children’s activities may have an additional fee.
  • When: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. November 28 – December 31

 

Winter Wonderland at the Beach

  • Where: Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place by the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
  • What: A free walk-through light show of over 10,000 lights plus a variety of special events throughout the season.
  • When: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. from November 28, 2025, to January 4, 2026

The annual light show will kick off on Black Friday and run through the season. 

Plus, a variety of additional family-friendly events will occur during the season, including:
–Christmas Tree Lighting and “First Snow” will occur on November 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
–Get ready to glow!  The Twinkling Two-Miler Run returns on December 9 at 6 p.m. Bring the whole family for a cheerful walk or run through sparkling holiday lights. Every participant gets a glow item — and don’t forget your festive costumes!
–New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show will take place on December 31 at 9 p.m. at the Boardwalk.

  • Where: The Hangout Stage at Broadway at the Beach
  • What: Featuring live entertainment, fireworks, tree lighting, special guests, and more!
  • When: November 15, 2025, at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 8 p.m.

 

Market Common Tree Lighting

  • Where: The Market Common
  • What: Kick off the holiday season with photos with Santa, holiday performances, free photo opportunities, and more.
  • When: November 22, 2025 | 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

Barefoot Landing: Lighting of the Landing

  • Where: Barefoot Landing
  • What: Enjoy a night full of festive fun at Dockside Village at Barefoot Landing. The night will begin with the tree lighting at 6 p.m. and fireworks immediately after; the whole family will also have a chance to meet Santa until 8 p.m. 
  • When: November 22, 2025 | 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

Winter Wonderland at The Beach Christmas Tree Lighting

  • Where: Plyler Park, Myrtle Beach
  • What: Experience a memorable start to the season with the “first snowfall of the season” featuring festive faux snow as the holiday celebrations kick off with the annual tree lighting and live performances.
  • When: November 29, 2025 | 5 p.m.

 

North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree Lighting

  • Where: McLean Park
  • What: An appearance from Santa and kid-friendly activities, caroling, stage performances, and refreshments.
  • When: December 2, 2025 | 6 p.m.

 

Conway City Tree Lighting

  • Where: 200 Laurel Street in Downtown Conway
  • When: December 4, 2025 | 6 p.m.

 

Surfside Beach Christmas Tree Lighting

  • Where: Memorial Park, Surfside Beach
  • What: Enjoy free admission to this event that will kick off the holiday season in Surfside Beach! Live music and entertainment will kick off the night, along with the tree lighting. There will be food trucks, vendors, Christmas characters, photos with Santa, a snow machine, face painting, a live nativity scene, and so much more!
  • When: December 4, 2025 | 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (rain date December 5)

 

Georgetown Christmas Tree Lighting

Note, this year’s event has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

  • Where: Francis Marion Park in Georgetown
  • When: December 5, 2025 | 6:30 p.m.

Festival of Trees at Ripley’s Aquarium

  • Where: Ripley’s Aquarium, Broadway at the Beach
  • What: Tis the season! This festival celebrates the heritage and diversity of the United States. The themed trees are adorned with decorations and ornaments representing each of the 55 states and territories. Enjoy the displays as you explore the aquarium and find your home state’s tree!
  • When: November 7, 2025 – January 4, 2026

 

Frosty and Friends Kids Cruise

  • Where: Barefoot Queen Riverboat by Barefoot Landing
  • What: Come dressed in your Christmas  and enjoy a magical Christmas morning , onboard the Barefoot Queen Riverboat! The cruise includes making Christmas crafts and decorations, your very own take home reindeer food, a visit with Frosty and the Elves, and a Christmas lunch and snacks. Tickets must be booked at least one day before departure and are $55 for adults and $40 for children 12 and under.
  • When: December 13 – 14, 20 – 23 2025 | 11:30 a.m. departure

 

Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals

  • Where: Myrtle Beach Convention Center
  • What: Get in the holiday spirit and jump-start your holiday shopping with over 350 vendors; enjoy elaborate festival displays, strolling Victorian Musicians, a display of trees, and much more. Advanced tickets are $12 for adult single-day, $15 for multi-day; $5 for children single-day, and $6.50 for multi-day. Ticket prices are higher at the door.
  • When: November 13 – 16, 2025

 

Dashing Through The Glow

  • Where: Great Christmas Light Show at North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex
  • What: Get dressed up for the 2-mile fun run/walk through the light show and compete for the best-dressed award! Pre-registration is required, and the event is expected to sell out. Adults 12+ are $25 while youth ages 11 and under are $10. The entry cost includes a finisher’s medal and hot chocolate following the race.
  • When: November 21, 2025 & November 22, 2025

 

Ground Zero Snowball Fight

  • Where: Ground Zero, 904 Chester Street, Myrtle Beach
  • What: The annual indoor snowball fight (for middle and high schoolers only) will include a live DJ, Christmas movie, fire pits, s’mores, hot chocolate, and of course, their indoor snowball fight! There is no charge to attend, just bring your excitement and spirit for friendly competition. Space is limited, and free tickets must be reserved in advance.
  • When: Wednesday, December 3 | 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

 

Rivertown Christmas Celebration

  • Where: Various Downtown Conway locations
  • When/What: Begins December 4, 2025, and continues each Thursday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through December 19. The shops of Downtown Conway are open until 8 p.m. each Thursday night to welcome holiday shoppers.

 

Polar Bus Express

  • Where: The Market Common
  • What: Hop aboard “The Polar Bus Express” in your comfy pajamas or a holiday outfit! This double-decker Big Red Bus features sounds from the movie soundtrack as passengers go for a ride down Ocean Boulevard to the “North Pole.” The ride includes a souvenir golden ticket, sleigh bell, water, a sweet treat, and complimentary hot chocolate following the ride. Jolly Saint Nicholas may also make a surprise appearance!
  • When: December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

 

11th Annual Santa Crawl on the MarshWalk

  • Where: MarshWalk of Murrells Inlet
  • What: Feel the holiday cheer along the MarshWalk as restaurants will be featuring holiday beverages, festive dinner specials, and more for the annual Santa Crawl. Dress up in your best Christmas costume or attire for a chance to win prizes. Winners will be announced at 9:30 p.m., and you must be present to win!
  • When: December 11, 2025 | 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
