Myrtle Beach 4th of July Fireworks

Myrtle Beach is known for its spectacular fireworks displays on Independence Day, and 2026 is no exception:

  • Broadway at the Beach – Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 10 p.m. Fireworks over Lake Broadway at one of Myrtle Beach’s most iconic attractions. 
  • Barefoot Landing – Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 10 p.m. Celebrate just north of Myrtle Beach with a spectacular fireworks show.
  • Cherry Grove Pier – Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 9:30 p.m. A beachside fireworks display in North Myrtle Beach. 
  • Murrells Inlet MarshWalk – Saturday, July 4th, 2026 at 10 p.m. A scenic fireworks show over the marsh.
  • Second Avenue Pier – Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 9 p.m. Grab a bite near the Second Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach, then watch fireworks light up the oceanfront sky. 
  •  Myrtle Beach Pelicans – Saturday, July 4, 2026 post-game show. Enjoy America’s favorite pastime and watch the Myrtle Beach Pelicans play baseball, then enjoy an extraordinary fireworks display after the game!

Salute From The Shore

Salute F-16s and vintage military aircraft as they fly over the South Carolina coast for this annual event! The flyover begins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

 

Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise

All aboard for a special Independence Day experience in Murrells Inlet! This two-hour cruise aboard the Explorer includes scenic views of local wildlife, historic homes, and a fireworks show over the water. Tickets are $89 per person and are expected to sell out quickly. Murrells Inlet Boat Parade 

The Murrells Inlet Fourth of July Boat Parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

This year’s theme is “Floating on Freedom: Celebrating 250 Years”. The parade begins in Garden City Beach and travels through Murrells Inlet. For boat participants, the Best Decorated Boat Awards will return with trophies for First, Second, and Third place winners. 

Those watching from shore can enjoy the parade from the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, Belin United Methodist Church, and Morse Park Landing. 

 

Independence Day 5K

Celebrate the Fourth of July at The Market Common for the 17th Annual Independence Day Race! The race is early in the morning on July 4, 2026, at Grand Park lake in Market Common.

The event features:

  • Independence Day 5K Run/Walk (Starts at 7:00 a.m.)
  • Uncle Sam’s 1 Mile Fun Run (Starts at 7:30 a.m.)
  • The Stars & Stripes Kids Dash, 50 yards (Starts at 8:00 a.m.)

 

Red, White & Blue 5K

The 8th Annual Red, White, & Blue 5K Run/Walk will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. Participants are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue to be eligible for additional prizes! More info on the race can be found here.

  • 5K Run/Walk (Starts at 7:00 a.m.)
  • Uncle Sam’s 1-Mile Walk (Starts at 7:30 a.m.)
  • Stars and Stripes Kids’ Dash (Starts at 8:00 a.m.)

 

Pawleys Island 4th of July Parade

Are you in the parade spirit? Head south to Pawleys Island for the annual Fourth of July parade, beginning at 10 a.m. (Line-up starts at 9 a.m.) on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Any vehicle with wheels may be decorated patriotically as a float. Participants must register their vehicle at the Old Town Hall and will be eligible for the chance to win prizes. Eligible entries include golf carts, cars, boats, and truck beds decorated for everyone’s enjoyment.

 

Surfside Beach 4th of July Golf Cart Parade

Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, decorated golf carts will travel down Ocean Boulevard in Surfside Beach. Locals and visitors are encouraged to register their decorated carts for a chance to participate and compete for prizes!

 

Surfside Beach 4th of July Celebration

On Saturday, July 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., families are invited to celebrate the nation’s birthday at the Surfside Beach Pier! Enjoy live entertainment, festive activities, and plenty of fun for kids.
