New Year’s Eve in Myrtle Beach 2023-2024

3,2,1 …. Let the New Year 2024 countdown begin! Goodbye to 2023 and be “shore” to give a big beachy welcome to 2024! There is no better place to celebrate a brand-new year other than being in Myrtle Beach! Have fun watching fireworks at the beach, dining out, attending holiday shows, participating in activities, and more. Check out our list of the various New Year's Eve 2023-2024 parties and celebrations going on for the entire family in Myrtle Beach. Many New Year’s Eve events are expected to sell out fast so be sure to get your tickets early!

A Southern Times Square New Year’s Eve Celebration

What: The Market Common will host a New Year’s Eve party to welcome 2024! The annual Southern Times Square is the beach’s own version of the Big Apple's New Year's Eve celebration with a live telecast on a jumbo screen and a mirror ball drop at midnight. Enjoy live music, a beer & wine garden, drone show, food vendors, kids’ activities and more at this event.
Price: To receive a ticket, present a receipt totaling $25 or more from any restaurant or retailer located at The Market Common during the last week of December. Exchange your receipt for a ticket at The Market Common Management office during normal business hours from Dec. 26 until Dec. 31. One ticket will be issued for each $25 spent.

Crooked Hammock New Year's Celebration

What: Come ring in the new year with a New Year’s Eve Party at Crooked Hammock Brewery at this 21+ celebration! Toast, feast, dance and take your last photos of 2023! Dress up or come casual. Guests can sip on their hand-bottled and bourbon barrel-aged S’more Cowbell Russian Imperial Stout, enjoy the brewery’s full bar featuring beer, wine and cocktails (drink tickets included in reservation), dance the night away on their dance floor with tunes by DJ Nikita Huttenlocher, and cheers to a midnight toast. The brewery will also be serving Hammock menu classics and specials to welcome 2024 at their End of the World Feast.

Dinner reservation for the four-course meal: $133.80 per person (including tax & 20% gratuity) features two drink tickets (from limited menu) complimentary water, soft drinks, and iced tea. Tables will be assigned before your arrival; if you want to be seated as a group, you must purchase your tickets under one name/transaction. All meals must be confirmed & placed with your server no later than 7:45 pm.

3001 Nightlife - 21+ New Years Weekend Bash

Price/Tickets: $35 in advance online, $45 at the door; this event is 21+ only!
What: Tickets get you in this three-day extravaganza, offering live DJs and entertainers. Performers vary each day. On New Year’s Eve they will feature at The Extraordinaires at Club Rewind; Thomas Road at Bourbon Cowboy, and Tim Clark at Club Envy. There will be free party favors and champagne split, and a ball drop at midnight. Come have a blast!

Local on the Water - 21+ New Years Eve Party

Featuring: Come ring in the new year with another amazing Asher Theatre performance. Straight from Philly, hear your favorite songs and the greatest hits from the East Coast's #1 Stylistics Tribute Band featuring Van Fields. The 8 p.m. show will include a champagne toast, dinner and a black-tie dress code!
Dinner will be served at the evening show at 8 p.m.; show time will begin at 10 p.m. Their menu will consist of a four-course meal: Prime Rib Au Jus, Sweet Herb Roasted Chicken, Shrimp Cocktail, and Salad. Champagne will be available and save room for the Red Velvet Cake, too.

New Year’s Eve & Day Holiday Shows

Alabama Theatre Christmas Show Christmas is not over yet! Create or continue the holiday tradition by experiencing a famous Christmas show in Myrtle Beach. If you haven’t seen a show, some do extend to New Year’s Eve and New Years Day.

The South’s Grandest Christmas Show

What: This festive holiday musical is a combination of traditional classics and contemporary holiday favorites. Also featured is their Comedic Juggler Slim Chance, who puts on a new Christmas twist.
When: 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. showtimes on New Year's Eve.

Carolina Opry’s The Christmas Show of the South

What: An annual holiday production bringing in stunning changes and time-honored traditions each year, with new talented artists and long-standing opry favorites. It brings the warm, wonderful, and fun spirit of Christmas to life with music, comedy and dance.

Comedy Cabana - New Year's Eve Extravaganza

Price/Tickets: $150 or $200 VIP. $150 ticket includes three-course meal (salad, entrée, & dessert) with choice of chicken or salmon. $200 VIP ticket includes priority seating near the dance floor, and the additional dinner option of surf & turf. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament

Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens

What: Walk through a soft glowing sculpture and wildlife preserve, with several themed botanical gardens with over 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights. Noon Year’s Day Event at Ripley’s Aquarium
