Horry County Museum

This beautiful museum is located just a short drive from Myrtle Beach in Conway.  It is open Tuesday – Saturday and has free admission! 

Explore photography, Native American art, military history, and more in curated galleries.   Have you ever seen the show “Tanked” on Animal Planet?  The museum includes a 4,400 gallon fresh water aquarium that was featured on the show that you can see up close and personal.

You can find the Horry County Museum in the Historic Burroughs School Building on Main Street in Conway.  The building is a piece of history as well, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
