Pier at Garden City

Just a bit south of Surfside Beach is Garden City Beach where the Pier at Garden City is located. This is one of the few piers along the Grand Strand that allows those wishing to walk but not fish to utilize the pier for free. Here you can enjoy a drink from the bar, catch a bite at the Pier Café during the warmer months, dance a little jig or try your talent at karaoke. Further down the pier at “Pieradise” live music fills the air during the summer as waves crash up against the pier. Kids can try their hand at the various indoor arcade games. This pier is open from March until December. During certain times of the year the Pier at Garden City stays open all night for fishing purposes.
