Downtown Flavortown – Coming Soon!
Myrtle Beach is going to get a whole lot spicier—Downtown Flavortown is extending its roots into the Myrtle Beach area. The Guy Fieri-backed and inspired restaurant is planned to be far from ordinary, with something for the whole family and, more importantly, a way to “play with your food”. The restaurant will include a mini indoor bowling alley, gaming, a tiki bar, and a menu that’s “off the hook”. The restaurant will be located at Myrtle Beach Mall, 10177 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, and is planned to open in early 2026.
357 Brewers – Coming Soon!
After a long day at the marina or soaking up the sun at the beach, there’s no better way to unwind than overlooking the gorgeous views Myrtle Beach has to offer at a craft brewery in town. The waterfront brewery plans to brew, can, and distribute the craft drinks in-house at their new facility at the Grande Dunes Marina, which is planned to open in the summer of 2026.
Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing Company – Coming Soon!
This awesome spot will have everything you need—indoor and outdoor spaces, a beer garden, a distillery, tasting rooms, and plenty of room for events! This trendy spot is set to land at Broadway at The Beach in the spring of 2026.
South Coast Beer Project – Coming Soon!
This new trendy spot will have everything you need for a family fun night! South Coast Beer Project will be a place for parents to slow down and a place where kids can have fun. The new spot will include a full-service restaurant inside the brewery, 400+ seating options, a lawn to relax featuring a video wall, and a full playground along with plenty of outdoor space to occupy your little ones. South Coast Beer Project will be located at 5020 Carolina Forest Blvd, Myrtle Beach, and plans to open in the spring of 2026!

Family Kingdom – New RMC Coaster Addition – Coming Soon
Family Kingdom Amusement Park is a nostalgic, long-time favorite for Myrtle Beach lovers. The family-friendly spot is adding its first RMC Raptor-style coaster. The modern addition to the park will stand around 100 feet tall and will feature a custom track designed specifically for the special Myrtle Beach park. It will be the Southeast’s first-ever single-rail coaster and is set to open in 2026. Additional new rides for 2026 include “The Colossus,” “The Flip Side,” and “The Lunartic”!
Alley Oops – Coming Soon! 
Alley Oops is the ultimate family-friendly destination with a bowling theme, featuring Duckpin Bowling, a 10,000-gallon shark tank, and a menu loaded with Maryland-inspired dishes. Perfect for fun and food, all in one place! The large entertainment center will be located at 3607 Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach.
Brookgreen Gardens NEW Purdy Center
Calling all nature enthusiasts! The Purdy Center is the newest addition to the iconic Brookgreen Gardens. The Conservatory Great Hall gives guests the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature all year long. The Purdy Center is a light-filled and climate-controlled garden that’s all indoors. Inside you’ll see a seasonal botanical garden, skylights, a floor-to-ceiling greenery wall, and so many other artistic details.
Interactive Experience Unleashed
Calling all Virtual Reality (VR) enthusiasts! The largest VR arena in South Carolina has made its debut in Myrtle Beach. Dive into a world of cutting-edge virtual reality, lifelike animatronics, and experiences that blur the line between fiction and reality. The VR hub is located at 7621 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach.
Savannah’s Playground Updates
Savannah’s Playground is loved by many locals and visitors in the area. This playground, located at The Market Common, underwent major renovation upgrades, including turf resurfacing, brand new equipment, and sunshades.
Slime Kitchen
Do you have craft-obsessed travelers with you? This new spot is perfect for a hands-on activity for the whole family. Slime Kitchen lets your creativity run wild with the opportunity to create customized slime in their interactive slime kitchen! The new slime-making experience spot will be located at Broadway at the Beach.
The PicklePort – Coming Soon!
Pickleball is taking over Myrtle Beach, and it’s not hard to see why! The PicklePort pickleball venue will hold twelve indoor courts and six covered outdoor courts, accompanied by a snack bar, practice areas, pro shop, and reception area. The courts will be solely reservation-based and conveniently bookable by using an app on your phone. The facility is set to open in 2026 and will be located across from the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
TRUE SOUTH
TRUE SOUTH is the one-stop shop for down-home warmth. The charming store holds a variety of products, from men’s and women’s clothing and food to travel accessories. The new shop is located in The Market Common at 3044 Howard Avenue, Myrtle Beach.
New Flights
Allegiant, known for its low-cost trips, is adding two new non-stop seasonal routes flying out of the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) to Dayton, Ohio, and Elmira, New York. These flights will begin in late May.
Breeze Airways has unveiled two new nonstop routes to Myrtle Beach that will be available from Pittsburgh and Portland, Maine. These flights will begin this summer. Breeze is also adding more options in existing markets such as Akron, Fort Lauderdale, and Islip, making it even easier to visit the beach!
